Laura Lee “Laurie” Brennan, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, August 3, 2024. She was born in Holyoke, a daughter of the late James T. and Mildred A. (Lebedewicz) Brennan and attended Holyoke public schools throughout, graduating from Holyoke High School in 1977. Thereafter she graduated from Holyoke Community College and Westfield State University. Laurie worked in the computer science field throughout her career, retiring from Mestek in 2022. She had a great love of horses and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan over the years. She lived in South Hadley for several years. Besides her parents, Laurie was predeceased by her nephew and Godson, Benjamin Zalewski. She is survived by two brothers: James Jr. (Katherine Smith), John (Jennifer Shack); a sister: Kathleen (Stephen Zalewski); nephews: Mark and Matthew Zalewski, a niece Devanne Zalewski, her maternal aunt, Phyllis Shatos of Oklahoma, and many cousins.
