Lillian T. (Kuras) Sheehan, age 92, of West Springfield, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Bear Mountain of West Springfield. She was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Jurkowski) Kuras, attended local schools, and graduated from the High School of Commerce. Lillian worked as an Accounts Clerk for Springfield Fire & Marine Insurance Company for many years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Rosary in Springfield. Lillian was a voracious reader and loved medical thrillers. She was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and was very proud of her Polish heritage. Lillian was the widow of Walter J. Sheehan who predeceased her on December 5, 2008. She is survived by her son, David Sheehan of West Springfield, and several nieces and nephews including Kristine Bernard of Framingham. Besides her parents and husband, Lillian was predeceased by her son, Robert Sheehan, daughter, Nancy Gilmore, and sister, Patricia Zurowski. All services for Lillian are private and being handled by the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home.
