Linda Anne Buckley passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of the Fairview Section of Chicopee. Linda was a daughter of the late Herbert Buckley and Marion (Mahoney) Buckley and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School and Holyoke Community College. Linda worked for a short time as a legal secretary but later worked for many years at A T & T Communications as an Overseas Operator, which was a job she loved. Following her career with A T &T she spent her remaining life here providing companionship and care for her mother. Linda leaves her brother Stephen Buckley and nephew Bryan of Chicopee, her sister, Gail Bienvenue of Granby, a cousin, who was like a sister to her, Joyce Lacaprucia of Chicopee, her cat, Ivy and many other cousins. All services are private. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Linda to the American Cancer Society or Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA. The Barry J. Farrell Home is handling the arrangements.
