Linda Lee Cron Duckworth passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Linda was born in Kansas at her grandmother’s home in 1945, the beloved youngest daughter of Mabel and John.  Her sisters were 10 and 12 and so excited to have a baby to play with.  She went to high school in Canoga Park California and then met her future husband in speech class at junior College. In 1966, she joined him in Biloxi Mississippi, where he was stationed in the Air Force and they were married. She had three daughters that she was very proud of and talked often of fun times riding horses together when they were young. She was unexpectedly divorced in 1992 and started a career. She worked at Cooper Bussman in St. Louis Missouri for 17 years before retiring. In 2018, she moved to Holyoke Massachusetts to be near her oldest daughter. Since then, she enjoyed many family vacations and spent every Sunday afternoon having lunch and playing cards with her family. She will be missed by her former coworkers, friends, neighbors, and especially Mary. Special thanks to Access Care Partners and Excel Nursing for help in her final months. She is survived by her sisters, Ada Hamilton of Paradise, California and Shirley Valez of Priest River, Idaho, and their children, as well as her three daughters and their spouses: Robin and Bob Brojanowski of Rhome, Texas, Kimberley and Johnny Kendrick of Houston, Texas and Marge and Seth Dunehew, Holyoke, Massachusetts, and her three grandchildren: Grace Linda Brojanowski, Aaron Kendrick and his husband Trevor, and Zach Dunehew. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice or to Dakin Humane Society, as Linda was fond of animals, especially birds, cats and horses. 

Arrangements were entrusted to Farrell’s Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., Holyoke Massachusetts with visitation on June 11 between 4 and 7pm.
