Linda Murphy

Linda J. Murphy, age 65, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her home. She was born in West Point, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Sheila Murphy and had lived here in Massachusetts for many years. Linda was employed as an Activity Assistant and Dietary Aide at Life Care Center in Wilbraham. She is survived by a son, Kyle Garrant of Springfield; a daughter, Vanessa Ring of Palmer; three grandchildren: Damian Ring, Gage Ring and Lily Garrant; two sisters: Nancy Hall and Maureen Wood, both of Florida, and her significant other, Lawrence “Larry” Willemain. Linda was predeceased by a sister, Joann Cabana. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will be private.
