Linda M. (Stein) Trudeau, born January 17, 1959 courageously entered into our Lords arms on August 18, 2025 at home with her husband by her side. She had battled health issues for some time until our most Merciful Lord decided she had suffered enough. Born in the small town of Pana, IL and resided in Holyoke, MA since 1977 after graduating from Pana High School. She had been a certified Nurses Aid her entire life retiring in 2022. Linda took a break from the nursing field after having three children, staying home until her children were school age, then drove a school bus to accommodate mother’s hours. She returned to the nursing field after her children were old enough to be on their own. Her passion in life was to help people in their time of need, keeping them comfortable in facilities, as well as in their own homes. She loved cooking and baking and was rewarded by seeing everyone enjoying a delicious meal, preparing dishes she wouldn’t eat herself being a fussy eater, she would add her own twist on recipes of most all ethnic cuisine. She was an avid gardener growing most of her own vegetables and picking fruits that were in season making various types of jams and baking her homemade breads for gift baskets during the holidays, as well as just sharing jars of jam for all to enjoy. Linda married the love of her life Edward Trudeau in 1982 enjoying 43 years of married life after three years dating making sure the shoe was going to fit.
