Lisa A. (Moffatt) Petrovksy

On the night of May 18th, 2022 surrounded by her 3 loving children and oldest granddaughter; a Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and friend was guided into her eternal peace. Lisa was born in Holyoke on December 29, 1956 to John and Mary (Doyle) Moffatt. She graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 1975. She had many jobs throughout her life, but attending Porter and Chester to attain her dental assistant certification was truly her passion. Lisa’s greatest accomplishment were her 3 children. John (Melissa) Wozniak, Stephanie Wozniak, and Wendy (Matthew) Krupa. She was always so proud of her children and let everyone know. Lisa not only leaves her children, but leaves her loving sister, Janet Lanier, niece, Laura (Zack)Goulet and nephew, Dustin (Heidi) Lanier. Lisa was also blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren, Elizabeth Wozniak, John Joseph (JJ) and Benjamin Wozniak, Lucas and Vivian Krupa. Lisa is predeceased by her loving parents. There are not enough words to describe how strong and courageous Lisa was. She lived her life to the fullest on her own terms, never accepting no for an answer. Lisa loved her family deeply, but to be sitting in the sun, toes in the sand, and listening to the sound of the ocean was her tranquility. Knowing she is now free and reunited with all her loved ones who were greeting her at heaven’s gates gives us comfort. “We will truly miss you in more ways than words can explain but we know you’re with every single one of us each day. We love you mom.”  We would like to personally thank the staff at Western Mass Hospital N2 Unit for their extraordinary care.  Funeral services for Lisa will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:15 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.  Lisa loved greeting every dog with a touch of their snout.
