Loretta (Noiseux) Morton, age 96, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born in Chicopee, daughter of the late Alphonse and Blanche (Barre) Noiseux. She was a banquet waitress for many years at the Gleason Town House and the Sheraton Inn in West Springfield. Loretta was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Cross Parish. She was predeceased by her husband William J. Morton in 2005. 

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Borelli and her husband Alex of Holyoke; three sons: William J. Morton and his wife Denise of West Springfield, James A. Morton and his wife Debra of Ludlow, and John M. Morton and his wife Darlene of Holyoke; 11 grandchildren: Keith Borelli (Marsha), Lisa Desautels (Jim), Jeremy Morton (Leslie), Todd Morton (Angela), Tiffany O’Neil (Ryan), Adam Morton, Meghan Kelliher (Matt), Kyle Morton (Aubri), Austin Aubin (Erica), Shaun Aubin (Samantha), and Brad Aubin (Marcie); and 11 great-grandchildren: Jake, Will, Andrew, Kristina, Anya, Antonio, Jacob, Liam, Jack, Autumn, and Sadie. 

The funeral will be held on Tuesday April 8 at 10:30am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church. Burial will be held in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:30am in the funeral home.
