Louis S. Roman, 79, a lifelong resident of Palmer who spent his final years in Holyoke, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. He was born in Palmer, the son of the late Louis and Mary (Kincius) Roman. Louis was a graduate of Palmer High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Lyndon State College in Vermont. He was a lifelong jazz enthusiast, an avid mushroom forager, and a passionate historian. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Roman. Louis is lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Janet, his nephew Evan, his niece Caitlin, and many cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 18, at 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Church, 2267 Main Street, Three Rivers (Palmer). Burial will follow at Saint Peter & Paul Cemetery.
