Lourdes Milagros Nieves Colon, 63, passed away on November 15, 2025. She was born in Puerto Rico and later made her home in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she built. Life filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. Lourdes is survived by her loving spouse, Miguel Colon, and her children: Frank Jimenez, Brandon Jimenez, and Shaina Colon. She is also survived by her siblings Maria Reyes, Rosa Nieves, Nancy Rodriguez, and Domingo Nieves, along with her seven cherished grandchildren and four beloved great-grandchildren. Lourdes worked in patient registration at Holyoke Hospital, where her honesty, warmth, and lively personality made a lasting impact on patients, coworkers, and everyone who crossed her path. She will always be remembered for her love of having a good time, her devotion to her family and husband, and her vibrant, outspoken spirit. Lourdes was truly the light of every party- vocal, genuine, and unapologetically herself. She brought joy wherever she went. She especially loved spending time with her friends, doting on her beloved cat JJ, and going on cruises, which brought her so much happiness. Lourdes will be forever missed and forever loved by all who were blessed to know her.
