Easthampton: Lucy (Tkachenko) Katz, age 93, of Easthampton, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Holyoke Health Care Center in Holyoke. She was born in Vetessa, Russia, daughter of the later Peter and Helen (Evanova) Tkachenko. Lucy was employed by Arnolds Meats Company for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Katz, who died in 2014. Lucy is survived by her daughters, Wanda Koch and her husband Wolf of Easthampton and Donna Boyan of Southport, NC; two grandchildren, David Aranjo and Nicolle Koch. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Anthony Aranjo, and a son-in-law Tom Boyan. All services are private. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
