Obituary

Marcella T. (Conway) Lowe, age 81, of Holyoke, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Bear Mountain Sixteen Acres in Springfield. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late John and Lillian (Woods) Conway and attended local schools. Marcella earned an Associates Degree from Holyoke Community College, and worked for many years as a Lab Technician for Spaulding. She was a member of the local Motorcycle Club, and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Cross Parish in Holyoke. Marcella was the widow of James W. Lowe, Sr. who predeceased her in 2002. She is survived by a son, James W. Lowe, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Chicopee; daughters, Nancy Lowe of California, and Teresa Royce and her husband Michael of VT; several grandchildren, as well as brothers, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Marcella was predeceased by two daughters, Lillian and Joann Lowe, and three sisters, Jackie, Colleen, and Beatrice. Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service and Burial for Marcella on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 am at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke is handling arrangements.
