Margaret Mary (Skiba) Brassil Obituary

Margaret M. (Skiba) Brassil passed away at her home at age 67 on Thursday January 30th, 2025. She was born October 21, 1957 daughter of Max and Loretta Skiba. She was survived by her husband Timothy M. Brassil and her two children Michael Brassil of Granby and Kathleen Brassil of Holyoke as well as her beloved grandson Jackson Brassil. She was predeceased by her oldest brother Butch Skiba and leaves four other siblings, William Skiba and his wife Sue; James Skiba of Holyoke and his companion Lori; Maxine Brodeur of Southampton; Deborah Tully of Chicopee. She is also survived many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. She was a long- time employee of Big Y’s Corporate office until her recent retirement. Her favorite past times included hosting a monthly Bunko game as well as many trips to Aruba both surrounded by friends and family. In lieu of flowers Peggy was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 6th at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home from 5:00 -7:00 PM.
