Margaret M. Howes

Margaret M. Howes, age 44, of Holyoke, passed away in her sleep at her home on Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born in Altenstadt An Der Waldnaab Germany, daughter of Kenneth and Monica (Schreiner) Howes and had lived in Holyoke for most of her life.  Margaret was employed as a mental health counselor for many years, as well as serving in the United States Army as well as many other fields.  Besides her parents, she is survived by two sons, Zion and Elion Petrie, both of Holyoke; her fiancé, Erin P. Moynahan, her aunt Margaret Howes, her uncles Paul Howes and Franz Schreiner, and a sister, Bettina Landgraf. Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 6th, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.  Burial will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Margaret to a gofundme at https://gofund.me/d42c5166.
