Marie T. (Driscoll) Donoghue, age 94, of Holyoke, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Daybrook Village in Holyoke. She was born in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Mary (Kennedy) Driscoll and was a 1949 graduate of the former Saint Jerome High School. Marie loved her Ward 4 roots, Saint Jerome Church, current affairs, and politics. Most of all, she cherished being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to eleven beautiful children. Marie was the widow of Roger P. Donoghue, who predeceased her in 2018. She is survived by three children: David “Archie” Donoghue and his wife Clare of Holyoke, Roger “Roddy” Donoghue and his wife Tara of Concord, and Gail Caligaris and her husband John of Holyoke; eight grandchildren: Daniel (Lisa) Donoghue of Holyoke, Brian (Emily) Donoghue of Easthampton, Moira Donoghue of Holyoke, Roger Patrick (Kelly) Donoghue of Sudbury, Conor (Katherine) Donoghue of Ipswich, Brendon (Grace) Donoghue of White Fish, MT, Matt (Katelyn) Caligaris of Ludlow, and Kate Caligaris of Holyoke; her great-grandchildren: Jack, Colin, Noah, Sean, Flynn, Charlotte, Eloise, Cooper and Lucas Donoghue, Avery Proulx, and Crew Caligaris. Besides her husband and parents, Marie was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Driscoll. The Funeral will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 9:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street. Burial will follow in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marie to Saint Patrick Committee of Holyoke, P.O.
