Mark F. Jamieson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Mark Francis Jamieson, who left us peacefully on May 10th, 2025, at the age of 67. Mark was born on March 30th,1958 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Harold and Marcella (Galat) Jamieson. Mark was raised in South Hadley, Massachusetts where he graduated from South Hadley High School in 1976. Mark was a proud member of the South Hadley High School Tiger Marching 100, traveling the world, marching in Dublin, Ireland to Pasadena, California in the Rose Bowl Parade. Mark enjoyed his time working for Spear Newman alongside his father, Harold. Mark later dedicated his life to working and advocating for those in recovery. Mark was an avid fisherman whether it was casting a line from the dock at sunrise or spending quiet afternoons reeling in a fish, Mark found peace with his fishing pole. Mark was a lifelong, die-hard Red Sox and Boston Sports fan. Mark spent much of his daughters’ childhoods doubling as a softball coach, where he instilled his patience, drive, and dedication to all the players on the field. A devoted father, loving husband, cherished brother, uncle, and friend, he lived his life with quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering love for his family. Mark was the rock of our family — steady, kind, and full of wisdom. His laughter filled our home, his guidance shaped our lives, and his love was a constant, comforting presence. Whether offering advice, lending a hand, or simply listening, he gave of himself fully and without hesitation.
