Mary V. (Mancini) Kelliher, 94, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Chestnut Hill in East Longmeadow. She was born in Quincy, daughter of the late Nazzareno and Philomena (Pasquale) Mancini and had lived in this area for many years. Mary enjoyed Christmas Carols and Italian Christmas Candies. She was a longtime communicant of the former Saint Mary’s Church in Willimansett, and enjoyed playing Bingo at the Knights of Columbus. Mary was the widow of Thomas M. Kelliher, Sr. who passed on December 26, 2004. She is survived by five children: Jane Fletcher of Spotsylvania, VA, Thomas M. Kelliher and wife Carol of South Hadley, Kevin Kelliher of Chicopee, Edward Kelliher and wife Stacy of Ware, and Keith Kelliher and wife Michelle of Palm Bay, FL; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a sister Gloria Crozier of Weymouth MA, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by a brother, Sonny Mancini, and two sisters: Jeannette Spaur and Antoinette “Didi” Lewellen. The funeral will be held Thursday morning, February 9th at 10:00 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee. Committal will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 8th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
