Mary Ann (Venne, Piangerelli) Labreche went home to be with the Lord on March 2nd, 2026. She was born in Springfield, MA to parents Hedwig & Roger E. Venne (later Hedwig & Ray Waugh), and lived to be 68 years old. She passed away peacefully in her home with loved ones by her side in Holyoke, MA. Mary Ann was known for her generosity, her strength, her love, and her kindness. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, Oma, friend, and mentor. She was a long-term member of Word of Grace Church and last worked at Holyoke Medical Center as a switchboard operator. Whether it was through sharing the gospel, praying daily, or sharing scripture, she made sure everyone around her knew that she loved Jesus and that Jesus loved them.

Mary Ann leaves behind her husband Byron Labreche, her children: Gregory Piangerelli & wife Emily, Amanda Campbell & husband Robert, Hannah Labreche, her grandchildren: Adrionna Beauregard & fiancé Cody Kuczynski, Joseph & Aubrey Piangerelli, Owen Campbell, and one great-grandson: Mikah Kuczynski. She is survived by her siblings: Roger & wife Karen Venne, John Venne, Mike Venne, Linda & husband Mike Souza, and Steven & wife Tricia Venne. She joins her three other children in heaven: Christopher, Sarah, & David Piangerelli. Despite Mary Ann’s challenges, she maintained her sense of humor and steadfast faith to the end.

There will be visiting hours on March 12, 2026, from 3-5pm, a service at 5, followed by a small reception with light refreshments. All will be held at Word of Grace Church, 848 North Rd. Westfield, MA. They find comfort in knowing Mary Ann is resting in the Lord’s presence.
