Mary Ellen (Craig) O'Connor

Mary Ellen O’Connor, 67, of Holyoke, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. She was born October 28,1953 at the Westerly Hospital, Westerly, RI, and lived in Pawcatuck, CT during her childhood. She was the daughter of the late William T. Craig Jr. and Margaret (Sammataro) Craig Sarrasin. Mary Ellen lived in the Wyben section of Westfield for many years with her husband, Richard. They were married for 33 years until Richard passed away June 29, 2017.  She had lived in Holyoke for the past eight years. Mary Ellen retired from Cenveo (National Envelope) in January 2020 after 35 years. Mary Ellen is survived by her brother, William T. Craig III and wife Carol of Mystic, CT, and predeceased by her husband Richard, her parents, and sister, Margaret Craig Longhi. Private services for Mary Ellen and Richard, a United States Army Veteran, will be held Wednesday, June 30 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam, MA. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
