Merrilee (Dulude) Diliberto, age 82, passed away at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family on December 25, 2024. Merrilee was a lifelong resident of Holyoke. Merrilee was the daughter of the late Lena (Eichstaedt) Dulude and Raymond Dulude. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and a United States Navy Veteran. She worked alongside her mother, for many years, at Lena's Catering. Merrilee was predeceased by her husband, Edward Diliberto, and her daughter Kimberlee Shoup. Merrilee was a loving mother to her children and leaves behind, Judi Shoup, Caron (Shoup) Porter and her husband Mark, Lee Shoup and his wife Brenda, Tony Diliberto and his wife Aimee. She was a loving grandmother to Madison and Tyler Porter, and Emma and Cecilia Shoup. Merrilee also leaves behind her two brothers, Raymond Dulude and his wife Jill, and William Dulude. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Judith (Dulude) Barta and Gloria (Dulude) Wresien, and her brother Joseph Dulude. She was blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Merrilee will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her. A Funeral Home Service will be held on January 6, 2025 at 5:45 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 3:00 to 5:45pm. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in memory of Merrilee to Baystate Children’s Hospital, 759 Chestnut Street, 4th Floor, Springfield, MA 01199.
