Mildred A. “Millie” (Lebedewicz) Brennan passed away at her son’s home in Southampton in the early morning of Thursday, November 17, 2022.
A lifelong resident of Holyoke, she was born to the late John and Sophie (Murawski) Lebedewicz and attended Holyoke schools throughout. After graduating from Holyoke Hospital School of Nursing, she spent many years working in the community at Holyoke Hospital, Chapel Hill Nursing Home and Loomis House.
Millie was the loving wife of the late James T. Brennan for 48 years, and mother to four children: Kathleen (Stephen Zalewski), Laura, James Jr. (Katherine Smith) and John (Jennifer Shack), and grandmother to four: Benjamin, Mark, Matthew and Devanne Rose. She also is survived by her sister, Phyllis Shatos of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.
All services for Millie are private and are being handled by Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
