CHICOPEE: Morine Frieda (Renaud) Cyr (Mimi), age 84, of Chicopee passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026. She was born and educated in Chicopee, a daughter of the late Wilfred Alfred Renaud and Gladys K. (Rosendale). She worked for many years as an assembler for K & M Electronics and in Housekeeping at Mount Holyoke College. She was a longtime communicant of St. Rose De Lima Church. Morine is survived by three children, Russell J. Cyr, Jr. and his wife Tina and their sons Jermey and Daniel of Westfield; Mark A. Cyr and his wife Kim of Chicopee, and Christine A. Cerez and her husband Phillip their sons Zachery and Kyle of Chicopee as well as five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers: Joseph Renaud, Ronald Renaud; three sisters: Yvonne Lengiza, Paulette Russo, and Denise Connors and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Morine was predeceased by her husband Russell J.G. (“Pops”) Cyr in April of 2009, her grandson Jason of September 2010, and a brother, Dennis Renaud.
