Olga (Sulikowski) Dalton, age 94, of South Hadley, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Holyoke. Olga, daughter of the late Karol and Joanna (Gajda) Sulikowski, was born in Holyoke and graduated from Mater Dolorosa School and Holyoke High School. She was employed for many years ago at the National Blank Book Company, as well as several local department stores. She was a communicant of St. Theresa of Lisieux Church.
Olga was the loving wife for 71 years of the late William E. Dalton, Jr., and together they raised four children. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She is survived by her four children: Patricia Dalton, Kathleen McGovern and her husband Francis, William E. Dalton, III and his wife Pamela, and John Dalton and his wife Linda. She also leaves behind her six wonderful grandchildren: William E. Dalton, IV, Andrea D. Scouras (James), Alec Dalton, Evan Dalton (Jillian), John McGovern, and Nancy McGovern; and her two great- grandchildren. Alexander Scouras and Mila Dalton. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Jean Mayfield.
The funeral will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 10:15 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa of Lisieux Church, 9 E. Parkview Dr., South Hadley. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, at 1:00 p.m. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral beginning at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WestMass ElderCare, 4 Valley Mill Road, Holyoke, MA 01040 www.wmeldercare.org.
