Patricia M. (Shea) Griffin

HOLYOKE

Patricia M. “Trish” (Shea) Griffin, 56, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 28, 2020. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of Helen T. (Fitzgibbons) Shea of Holyoke and the late John J. Shea, and was educated in the Holyoke schools. Trish was a devoted wife and mother, and always put her family first. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Besides her mother, Trish is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Atty. Thomas G. Griffin; her three beloved children: Alanna, Aidan and Eileen Griffin; A brother James Shea of Holyoke; two sisters: Mary Ellen Shea of Florida and Ann Shea of Amherst. Besides her father, Trish was predeceased by a brother, John Shea. Please note that as of March 20, 2020, Trish's Mass of Christian Burial scheduled for April 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m at Blessed Sacrament Church has been CANCELLED; a Memorial Mass will be held in her memory on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament School, 21 Westfield Road, Holyoke MA 01040.
