Patricia Louise (Giannini) Jackowski

Patricia Louise (Giannini) Jackowski, age 87, passed away peacefully June 11, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center with her family by her side. Patricia was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Sandrilla) Giannini and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Pat worked over the years at PO Spa, The Log Cabin, AT&T, Friendly’s, and Gramp’s. Pat was most proud of helping her husband run The Microfilm Co. in Holyoke & Chicopee. She returned to The Log Cabin Banquet House and retired as a greeter in 2012. Patricia was predeceased by her husband James J. Jackowski, Sr, by her son James J. Jackowski, Jr. and her sisters Rosemarie Goddu (Paul), and Angeline Lauzier (Donald).

She is survived by two sons: Michael E. Jackowski (Ellen), Edward P. Jackowski (Suzanne); six grandchildren: Justin Bartha, Katherine Jackowski, Anna Jackowski, Brian Jackowski, Jake Jackowski, and Nicholas Jackowski; her great-granddaughter Hailey Circerchia; and her brother, Joseph P. Giannini (Ginny).  In addition, she leaves behind several nieces and nephews, and her “Angels” Bill Goddu and Ann Marie Jackowski.

The funeral will be held Wednesday June 15, 2022 at 10:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15am in Saint Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street, Holyoke. Burial will be held in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 10:00am.  The things that gave Pat the most joy were spending time with family pets and feeding family and friends.
