Patricia R. Palmer Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Patricia “Patti” Palmer, a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, partner, and cherished friend, who unexpectedly passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 69. Patti’s warmth, humor, and compassionate spirit left a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Patti was born on October 5, 1956, in Farmington, Maine. She later moved to Massachusetts, where she attended South Boston High School and continued her education at Holyoke Community College. Throughout her career, Patti held a variety of retail management positions, where she was widely respected for her leadership, tireless work ethic, and genuine care for both coworkers and customers. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together and create welcoming spaces wherever she worked.

A true free spirit, Patti approached life with curiosity, resilience, and a joyful sense of adventure. She believed in living authentically, embracing each moment, and encouraging others to do the same. Her laughter could brighten any room, her advice was heartfelt and wise, and her kindness extended to everyone she met. Patti found beauty in everyday moments and taught those around her to appreciate life’s simple joys.

Patti had a deep love for animals and filled her home with beloved pets who brought her endless companionship and happiness. Above all else, she treasured her family. As a mother of eight, she dedicated her life to nurturing, guiding, and supporting her children, instilling in them strength, compassion, and independence. Her family was her greatest pride, and the love she gave continues to shape generations.

Patti leaves behind her beloved children: Richard Seymour and his wife Danielle; Paul Seymour and his wife Joanne; Mark Seymour and his wife Kristin; Brad Seymour and his wife Leilah; Steven Seymour and his wife Jenn; Amanda Seymour and her partner Peter; April Martinez and her husband Cielo; and Adam Seymour.

She is also lovingly remembered by her life partner of 17 years, Dwaine Huntington; her mother, Jeanne Palmer; her sisters, Deb Arnot and Jen Lewis; her bonus daughter, Tanya Tolhurst; her brother, Earl Palmer, grandchildren, Brandon Seymour; Alahna Strauss and her husband Jon; Richard, Samantha, Alex, Austen, Aidan, Jillian, Nathan, Maxwell, Chase, and Charley Seymour; Sierra, Aubrie, Carter, Soreily, Isaiah, and Arya Simpson; Blake, Emma, Dalya, Julian, Grayson, and Violet Martinez; her great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Patti’s legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, compassion, and fearless individuality. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
