Paul J. Martinelli

Paul J. Martinelli, age 69, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Aldo and Adeline (Baldyga) Martinelli, and was educated in Holyoke schools. Paul was a skilled carpenter and worked as a home builder and contractor for many years, he finished his career as a home inspector. Paul’s main love and passion was music, an accomplished guitarist and song writer, he played in various local bands through out the years and played many venues across Western Massachusetts. Paul is survived by his son, Derek Martinelli and his wife Leah of Holyoke; a grandson, Marcus Martinelli; Paul’s fiancé, Constance Keith, her daughters Melissa, Megan, Marcy, and Jill; a brother, Aldo Martinelli and his wife Sheila of Venice, FL; a sister, Gina Mitchell of Holyoke; a niece, Julie Kirby and her husband Jake, and their daughters Laura and Leah of Venice, FL; and nephews Nick, Shawn, and Matt. A Graveside Service will be held for Paul on Thursday, April 20th at 12:30 pm at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Mayher Street, Easthampton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
