Paul Joseph Small

Paul Joseph Small, age 66, of Chicopee, passed away Sunday September 29, 2019 at UMass Medical Memorial Hospital in Worcester, with his loving family by his side. Paul was born in New York City, New York son of the late Paul and Rita (Moreno) Small, and was proud of his Sicilian heritage. He worked for many years as a chef and bartender at various local establishments, most recently the Clover in Holyoke. Paul had a passion for cooking and collecting baseball cards, but he most cherished his time with the love of his life, his wife Evelyn Santos. Besides his wife, he is surrounded his by three daughters: Mildred Pratts, Jacqueline Caulfield, and Erica Small; seven grandchildren: Sadie Santiago, JoJo, Alexis Caulfield, Victor Thomas Irizarry Jr., Natasha Santos, Nathan Santos, and Nicole Santos; a sister, Sissy Small; and a brother, Robbie Small. A Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Sunday October 6 from 2:00 to 5:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
