Pauline M. (Thibault) Godbout, 83, of West Holyoke, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. She was born in Saint-Raphael-de-Bellchasse, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Paul and Jeanette (Bernard) Thibault. Pauline cherished her time spent with her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Norman. She is survived by her two sons: Mario and his wife Karen (Sabourin) Godbout of Holyoke and Gary Godbout of Southampton; her grandchildren: Andre and his wife Caileigh of Holyoke, Robert and his wife Jaclyn of Foxboro, and Justin and his companion Caitlin of Freeport ME, and her beloved great-granddaughter Presley Godbout of Holyoke. She is also survived by her brothers Pierre Thibault and his wife Carol, Denis Thibault and Yvon Thibault; her sisters: Lisette and her husband Marcel Raby, Diane and her husband Bruno Garant, Francine Thibault, and Claude Couture, all of Canada; a brother-in-law Rejean of Canada; sisters-in-law, Hugette and her husband Jean Luis Morency of Holyoke, Lillian and her husband Viateur Larochelle of Westfield, and Adela and her husband Marcel Cote of Canada, as well as many nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by three brothers: Roland, Raymond and Robert Thibault. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Baystate Hospice and Armbrook Village in Westfield for the compassion and care given their mother. The funeral will be held Friday, October 17 at 11:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street. Burial will follow at Forestdale Cemetery West. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
