EASTHAMPTON: Penny L. Moreau, 61, of Easthampton, passed away Sunday November 23, 2025 at Umass Medical Center in Worcester MA after battling a long- term illness. She was born in Springfield, daughter of Shirley (Brehart) Flanders of Belchertown and the late William Flanders, Jr. and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. Penny was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Springfield Thunderbirds Booster Club. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Steven H. Moreau and her daughters Caroline Moreau of Groton CT and Cheryl Moreau of Easthampton, two brothers William Flanders III. and wife Susan of Springfield and Scott Flanders and wife Kerry of Ludlow as well as many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:30 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours will be held Thursday December 4, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital.
