Peter “PJ” Joseph Stabile Jr., born in Poughkeepsie, NY on October 24, 1963, passed away peacefully in his home on January 20, 2025, at 61 years old. From his early summers spent on Lake Champlain, to riding his motorcycle, truck, or boat, he was an outdoorsman at heart. Raised in South Hadley, MA, Peter spent his life dedicated to his work as a dental lab technician, and was known for his kind, handy, and humorous personality. His generosity knew no bounds. Peter is survived by his two loving daughters, Leah Marie Stabile and Anna Lind Stabile of South Hadley, MA, as well as his sister Brooke Ann Stabile of Holyoke, MA, and a lifetime worth of good friends. His daughters were his entire world, who will forever cherish the countless memories they made together. He is predeceased by his parents Peter Joseph Stabile Sr. and Jeanne Marie Stabile, and grandparents Ira Deyo Fitch, Helen Fitch Burke, and Pasquale “Patsy” Stabile. Pete loved nothing more than a good time, so in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you do the same. Listen to some music, enjoy a delicious meal, spend quality time with friends and share a funny story. He will be buried with family in New Paltz, NY where a private service will be held.
