Ramona Marie (Horta) Parker, 83, of Belchertown, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. Known by all as Mona, she was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Ramon H. and Marion G. (Pearson) Horta, and graduated from Belchertown High School. Mona was the proprietor of Parker’s B&B in Granby and Mona’s Lace Place in South Hadley. She was an active member of the United Church of Christ in Granby for many years. In her spare time, Mona enjoyed antiquing, decorating her home, shopping, and traveling. She loved hosting family gatherings, traveling, dancing and singing, and gardening. Mona was predeceased by her husband, Edward H. Parker, in 2015. She is survived by her children: Todd Parker of Granby, Suzanne Parker (Josef Wille) of Amherst, and Edward Parker (Candace) of Granby; nine grandchildren: Joshua, Shilo, Maddy, Megan, Shannon, Shane, Shawn, Abigail, and Kayla; nine great-grandchildren: Kyle, Brent, Dylan, Greyson, Brayden, Grayson, Aurora, Jackson, and Walker; and sister, Jacqueline Corbett, of Belchertown. Besides her parents and husband, Mona was predeceased by four sisters: Donna Andre, Marion Nelson, Doris Hebert, and Juanita Eckert; and daughter-in-law, Erica Parker. All services for Mona will be held privately and are being handled by the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Girls Inc. of the Valley, PO Box 6812, Holyoke, MA 01041.
