Raymond Kelliher, 74, of Westfield, a proud Holyoke native, passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family on January 23,2025. He was the son of the late Raymond and Charlotte (Calkins) Kelliher. He was a graduate of Holyoke High class of '68 and went on to graduate from Holyoke Trade School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired in 2019 from SealRYT in Westfield where he worked as a machinist. Ray enjoyed playing cards with his friends and meeting them for breakfast. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going on travel adventures with his wife to Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Ireland, and especially the Mid West. To cherish his memory he leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years Colleen (Harris) Kelliher, three daughters, Kimberly Smith and her husband Greg of West Springfield, Sarah Kelliher of Easthampton and Amy Kelliher of Tampa FL; four granddaughters Abigail, Jocelyn, Madison and Ella. He is survived by his loving in-laws; Barbara Kelliher, Kathy and John Healy, Patricia and Michael Archambeault, Leonard and Bonnie Harris, Rosemary Thompson and Daniel and Nancy Harris as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins and a lifetime worth of good friends. Besides his parents Ray was predeceased by his brother Charles"Chuck" Kelliher and his brother in-law Robert Thompson. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday February 21,2025 at Barry Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke MA from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
