Richard Robert Bihler, 69, passed away on October 10, 2024, in his Hometown of Holyoke, Massachusetts. Born on December 27, 1954, in Holyoke, Richard Attended Morgan School and Graduated Holyoke Trade School he was a lifelong resident of the city and a respected member of the community. Richard dedicated many years to his career as a printing press operator, a job he performed with skill and pride. Known for his love of life and nature, Richard spent much of his free time in his backyard, enjoying the company of his dogs and feeding the birds. His interest in crime-solving shows reflected his analytical mind and curious nature. Richard was a hardworking man who cherished his family, friends, and loved ones deeply. Richard is survived by his son, Kristopher Bihler; daughter, Jody Bihler; wife, Julie Moriarty; ex-wife, Catherine Bihler; and brothers, Kenneth and Robert and Twin Rene Bihler. He was predeceased by his parents, Rene E. Bihler and Rita J. Paul, and his sister, Carol A. Sisterman All Are Dearly Missed. Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on October 18, 2024, at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, reflecting Richard's love for animals. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke is assisting the family with arrangements. Richard's life was marked by his commitment to his family, his career, and his community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
