Richard R. Tindell

WEST SPRINGFIELD

Richard R. Tindell, age 68 of West Springfield, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. He was born in Holyoke to the late Lionel and Mary (St. Pierre) Tindell and attended Holyoke Schools. Richard worked as an auto glass installer for several local companies and spent most of his free time fishing. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Hanscom) Tindell; his sons: Eric Tindell and his wife Stephanie of Chicopee, and Adam Tindell and his partner Kim Addoms of Westfield; his daughter, Heather Tindell and her partner Matthew Douthwright of Westfield; his brothers: Raymond Brouillette and his wife Lillian of North Carolina, and Ronald Tindell of Chicopee; his sisters: Kathy Whitten of Easthampton, and Janet Tarr and her husband Richard of Florida; and his grandchildren: Evan Douthwright and Collin Tindell. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Robert Brouillette, and his sister, Rose Kough. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
