Robert J. Gaulin, age 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Carmel Terrace in Framingham, MA on March 10, 2026. Robert was born in Lambton, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Donat and Yvonne (Rousseau) Gaulin. He worked for many years in shipping at AMPAD until his retirement. Robert was married to Dorothy (Soucy) Gaulin for 63 years who pre-deceased him in 2022. Robert is survived by his son, Daniel Gaulin and his wife Nancy of Framingham, MA; two daughters: Robin Dennis and her husband John of Concord, NH, and Diane Gaulin of Wellesley, MA; five grandchildren: Rachel Brown and her husband Ben, Robert M. Gaulin and his partner Marion Ma, Eric Dennis, Elizabeth Gagliardi and her husband Cody, and Sarah Dennis and her partner Ben Nawn; and two great grandsons, Bode Brown and Oliver Brown. He was the beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Robert on Saturday, March 14th at 10:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA followed by burial in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Visitation will take place Saturday from 9:00 to 10:15 am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA.
