Robert C. Tabin Sr (Poncho), of Holyoke, MA passed away in his sleep at home on July 23, 2025.  Robert was born and raised in Holyoke and was the son of the late Chester and Helen (Dec) Tabin. He was a graduate of Holyoke High School class of 1969.  He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. 

Robert is survived by his lovely wife of 50 years Denise (Brady).  He will be missed by his children, Robert Jr spouse Lauren, Michelle Anamisis spouse Gus, and Jamie spouse Deborah.  

Robert was a proud Dziadziu of eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren: Ashlyn (Tabin) Taylor spouse Kvon, Nisha Tabin, Robbie Tabin, Alexis Anamisis, Mahaya Tabin, Julia Anamisis, Nayan & Anjalie Tabin and great grandchildren, KJay, Adalyn and Braelyn Taylor.   Robert leaves behind three brothers, Theodore Tabin spouse Charlotte, David Tabin spouse Barbara and Alan Tabin spouse Tricia Tabin.  He also leaves behind one nephew and several nieces along with great nieces and nephews. 

Robert was happily retired as Craftsman of Holyoke Parks and Rec Department. In his earlier years he spent many seasons as a girls' softball coach.  He was an avid walker and was known by many at the Holyoke Mall, many knew him for his friendly and enthusiastic "Hello's".

A calling hour will be held for Robert on Wednesday, July 30th at Barry J Farrell Funeral Home from 8:30-9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
