Robert John “Bob” Weiss, age 75, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Bob was born in Hartford, CT son of the late John E. and Katherine M. (Moriarty) Weiss and was a graduate of Cathedral High School and American International College, both in Springfield. He was an avid skier and loved to travel- especially skiing and to Ireland. Bob was a huge music fan and DJed on the radio locally on WHYN. He was a longtime salesman and employee of Competitive Edge Ski and Bike Shop in Holyoke.

He is survived by his cousins: John Riccio, Thomas Moriarty, Ted Moriarty, and Judith Moriarty, Carl Weiss, David Weiss, Deborah Berardi, and Harold Weiss; as well as many wonderful and close friends and second cousins both in the states and in Ireland.

There are no services at this time for Bob, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
