SPRINGFIELD: Rory Hillman Quinn, age 42 passed away peacefully on January 29th at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on August 31, 1983. He attended Holyoke Public Schools and graduated from Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, MA in 2005. He lived in a group home in Springfield for the last 20 years and enjoyed attending Baroco when his health permitted. He is survived by his parents Cheryl A. (Hillman) Quinn and Thomas F. Quinn; his beloved sister and brother Shannon and Brendan Quinn; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rory would want to be remembered for his strength, tenacity, and determination. Rory loved the Red Sox, WWE wrestling, Neil Diamond, and ALF. His family would like to express their appreciation for all who lovingly cared for Rory at Baystate Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, and his Glenvale Home. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:15am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by burial in Saint Jerome Cemetery, both in Holyoke. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:00am to 10:15am.
