Roy F. Christensen, Jr. Obituary

Roy F Christensen Jr, 77, of Chicopee, MA, passed away unexpectedly on the 20th of November 2025. Born on October 22nd 1948 in Mobile, Alabama, he served in the US Navy after high school. He took great pride in his service on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Roy was a master of many things; and enjoyed woodworking, reading, and working on his cars in his retirement. He loved his morning cup of coffee and trying all different cuisines. He loved to, as he would say, “go do.” Roy is survived by his daughter Caley Zajac of Woburn, MA, and his sister Virginia “Ginger” Weller and her husband Lee of Pheonixville, PA. Roy was predeceased by his parents Roy F Christensen Sr and Winifred “Anne” (Nethkin) Christensen. He is also predeceased by his sisters Peggy Arnold and Julie Bartell, and his brothers Roger and James Christensen. A brief service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam MA on Tuesday December 2nd at 9:00am.
