HOLYOKE

Ruth M. (Tetlow) Gibson, age 91, of Holyoke, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home. She was born in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Ruth was secretary to the Principal at Peck Middle School in Holyoke, retiring in 2008. She is survived by her children, Joanne “Bonnie” Silvestris and her husband Lance, Beth Gonsor and her husband John, Heather Monty and her husband Charles, and Scott Gibson and his wife Erin; she leaves her beloved grandchildren: Andrew Dinapoli, Jobeth Woodward, Jamie Rivera, Justin Gonsor, Laura Davies, Elizabeth Moffie, and Brooke Gibson. Ruth also leaves eight beloved greatgrandchildren: Jordyn, Nathan, Isabelle, Jack, Henry, Maddie, Tanner, and Owen. Funeral services and burial were privately held on Friday, January 22, 2021. The family requests donations be made in memory of Ruth to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
