Sandra Lee (Caproni) Bouchard

Sandra Bouchard, 83, passed away on September 13th, 2023. She was the wife of John Bouchard. They shared 34 loving years together.

Born in Holyoke, MA she was the daughter of Anna and Joe Caproni.  She attended Chicopee High School, and worked as an Old Colony Envelope employee, and Owner of Wemettes Market in Westfield.  Sandy was also a cake artist and baker with her husband.

Sandy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook and host her family for every holiday. She had a passion for baking; and there was never a holiday party without her famous peanut butter balls. Sandy loved spending time at her campground; Laurel Ridge in Otis playing cards, fishing, and sitting by the fire with her husband, family, and friends. She had many hobbies including arts & crafts, gambling at Mohegan Sun, and having the most decorated house in the entire town every Christmas holiday. Her smile, laugh, and love for her family will be deeply missed.

Family members include her loving husband John Bouchard; brother Joe Caproni and late wife Marion; daughters Kathleen Skiptunas and husband Dan; Sharon Ullery and husband Rick; and son, Mark Callahan. Her grandchildren; Kristen Cournoyer, and fiancé Rachel; Jennifer Sutter and husband Noah; and great grandson, Logan; and many nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke, MA on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 6:45pm. In lieu of flowers, cash or venmo (@Kathleen-Skiptunas) donations will be accepted to help support the family expenses.
