Sandra Jean (Keith) Curran, age 62, of Feeding Hills, MA passed on December 31, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1962 and raised in Holyoke, MA. Sandy graduated from Holyoke High School in 1980 and went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Holyoke Community College. She built a successful career as the Office Manager at Teddy Bear Pools & Spas, retiring after a 32-year tenure. Sandy was married to her wonderful husband, Roger Curran, who passed in 2018, for more than 25 years. A lifelong lover of animals, she and Roger gave a loving home to many dogs who were never denied a steak dinner or plate at a BBQ. Sandy was passionate about horses, especially her horse, Star, who she rode in team penning. She enjoyed traveling and visiting the ocean. She took many trips to Cape Cod growing up and found a favorite vacation spot with Roger in Charleston, South Carolina. Sandy was kind, lively, joyful, and above all generous. Her wonderful sense of humor, storytelling, and unforgettable laugh will be deeply missed. Sandy is survived by her mother, Margaret Keith and predeceased by her father, David Keith. She leaves behind three sisters; Gayle Keith, Joyce Keith, and Laura (Keith) Cohen and husband John Cohen, as well as her niece, Mara (Keith-Hunter) Niefer and husband, Alexander Niefer, nephew, Eoin Keith-Hunter and his wife Katie Keith-Hunter, and nephew, Hunter Cohen. She will be missed by her great nephew and nieces, Ryan, Anna, and Emily Niefer, her stepchildren Kelly Curran Drolet and family, Christopher Curran and family, and finally, by her extended family near and far. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by burial in Forestdale West Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 9th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Thomas J O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center.
