HOLYOKE: Shawn Flaherty, 53, died suddenly at home on May 11th. He was a lifelong resident of Holyoke and was Maintenance Director at Westfield Gardens in Westfield. He thoroughly enjoyed his job there and his coworkers. He is survived by one son, David Flaherty, of Chicopee. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St. Burial will follow in Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St, Holyoke.
