She rejoined the workforce as a teacher in the Holyoke Public Schools where she touched the lives of many students over her decades of teaching. An avid skier and tennis player, Sheila met her husband, Frank R. Miano, as a member of the Holyoke Ski Club and they spent many happy times at the Mt. Tom Ski Area and the Holyoke Canoe Club. Besides her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by all her siblings including John Keane Jr., Kevin Keane, Denise Keane, Judith Keane and Terence Keane. She leaves a son, Michael Miano, of Holyoke. She also leaves a daughter, Ellen Miano, and a son-in-law, Thomas O’Brien, both of Foxborough.
