Shirley Yvonne (Taylor) Bissonnette, 93, of Lecanto, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025.  She was born in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Russell Taylor and Yvonne (Roy) MacKay.  She was a graduate of Agawam High School in Agawam, MA.  She retired from BayBank Valley Trust Company in Springfield, MA.  She had lived in Chicopee, MA prior to moving to Lecanto, Florida.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Kubow and her husband Jim of Isabella, MN, Frances Depka of Southbridge, MA and a son, Frederick S. Depka and his wife Susan of Dunnellon, FL, a step-son, Paul D. Bissonnette Jr. and his wife Missy of Beverly Hills, FL and step-daughter, Debra Cauley of Feeding Hills, MA, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.   

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul D. Bissonnette Sr., her step-father, John E. MacKay, her grandson, Travis Depka and her beloved feline companions, April and Belle.  She was also predeceased by her first husband, Frederick S. Depka Sr., father of her three children.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA.  Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA is in charge of arrangements.
