Stephen Michael Witek passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday August 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick D. WItek and Maureen C. (Maher) Witek. His travels took him to California, Alaska, Florida, Colorado, and Ireland before returning home to Holyoke. Steve took loving care of his parents until their deaths in 2015 and 2020. On weekends he joined his friends to support the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. He is survived by his brother John of Virginia, John’s wife Diana, and nephew Matt. He also enjoyed time with his cousins and many life-long friends. Calling hours for Stephen will be held on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 9:30 am on Friday, August 27, at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Pitroff Avenue, South Hadley, for Graveside Service.
