Susan Mary (Sheridan) Lawson

HOLYOKE:  Susan Mary (Sheridan) Lawson of Holyoke, MA, lost her second battle with cancer at the age of 62 on Saturday, May 9, 2020 while at home in the care and comfort of her husband and children. Born November 6, 1957 in Holyoke, MA she was predeceased by her parents Philip and Marilyn (Waring) Sheridan as well as siblings Philip III, Robert, and Mary. Susan graduated from the Holyoke Public Schools where she met her husband Frank of the past 44 years. In addition to being an exceptional mother to her family, she also worked at Mansir Printing of Holyoke and the former PIP Printing in South Hadley, MA.  She is survived by her husband Frank Lawson and his mother Geraldine Hines of Holyoke as well as eight sons and two grandchildren: Timothy of South Boston, MA; Dan and Stephanie and their children Benjamin and Amelia of Melrose, MA; Kevin and partner Meghann Eddy of South Hadley, MA; Brian (Fr. Stephen) of St. Anselm Abbey, Manchester, NH; Kyle and fiancée Bridget of Northfield, NH; Sam of Brooklyn, NY; and Chad and Nathan, both of Holyoke. Susan is also survived by her seven siblings: Betty Larivee and Nancy Burns of Holyoke; Diane Garcia of San Diego, CA; Pat and Carol Sheridan of New Bedford, MA; Jane Merrill of Suffield, CT; Tom and Nancy Sheridan of West Springfield, MA; and Ann and Jim Shevlin of Alpharetta, GA. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, spouses, in-laws, and their children in the extended family. Due to the pandemic, no services are currently scheduled.
