Tadeusz "Ted" Trzepacz

Tadeusz “Ted” Trzepacz, age 81, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side after battling Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on October 19, 1939 in Wola Medrzechowska, Poland to Zofia and Wladyslaw Trzepacz, and immigrated to the United States in 1965. Ted worked as a machinist for Easco Co. and Beaulieu Tool & Die Co until retirement. He enjoyed singing, gardening, homing pigeons, the Red Sox, and playing with his grandchildren. He was a choir member at the former Mater Dolorosa Church and currently at Our Lady of the Cross Church, and was a member of the Unitas Organization. Tadeusz is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Genowefa (Drobiak) Trzepacz; his loving children: Eva Whalen (Daniel), Mark Trzepacz (Dianne), and Andrew Trzepacz (Patti); 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his sister, Celina, brothers, Czeslaw and Stanislaw, and a granddaughter, Victoria Whalen. Ted’s family would like to thank Sister Theresa, and all close family members, for their care, assistance, and prayers, as well as Holyoke Hospice Life Care for their assistance. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 10:30 am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church, Holy Cross Avenue. Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, Pitroff Avenue, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning before the Mass from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Holyoke Hospice Life Care, 575 Beech Street, Holyoke, MA 01040, or to the charity of one’s choice.
