Terrance Robert “Ta” “Wally” “Peaches” Rohan, age 70, of Holyoke, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Linda Manor in Leeds. He was born in Holyoke, a son of the late James and Mary (Mahoney) Rohan, was educated in the Holyoke Public Schools, and graduated from Devereaux University in 1977. Terry grew up as a talented pitcher, known for striking fear into opposing batters. Throughout his life, Terry carried a fond appreciation for the simple things: A firm handshake, trips to Saratoga with friends, a home-cooked meal, and sharing laughter with his brothers. Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by two brothers, James Rohan and Joseph Rohan. Wally is survived by three brothers: William Rohan (Nadine Lempke), Patrick Rohan and his wife Geraldine, and Thomas Rohan and his wife Deanne, and a sister, Mary Rohan. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews who adored him greatly: Jimmy Rohan, Tara Rohan, Megan Rohan, Julie Rohan, Andrew Rohan and his wife Jessica, and Sean Rohan, as well as an aunt Maureen Rohan.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 29 at 12 noon in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street. Burial will follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Following the burial, a reception will be held at Griffin’s Café on Hampden Street in Holyoke.
